Does Hesse Equipment Company carry pipe joints?

No we don't. We manufacture custom duct expansion joints. Pipe joints are readily available from many other companies.

Do custom duct joints (both metal and fabric) have long lead times?

No. Rarely does any order take more then a month to complete from the beginning to the final touches. Many small/simple orders can be produced in two weeks time. We like to work with our customers without unnecessary dialogs due to red tape, bureaucracy and other hangups.

Do you install the expansion joints that you make?

We supply the expansion joints, but we do not offer turn-key service.

Do you supply all types of 12 point slugging wrenches?

Yes, but we really specialize in the special heavy-duty 12 point wrenches for GE frame 7 gas turbines.

Do you supply hex sockets?

We don't carry hex sockets because they are widely available elsewhere. We do have hex bits in several different lengths though if you choose to make your own.

What if I need a tool that you don't have? Can you make it?

Yes, if it is a tool that is not readily available, and you need more than one or need them on a regular basis, we will make it for you. We can make you only one, but usually the price is very high to manufacture just one piece.

What's the best way to measure pantleg washers?

When placing an order, some people measure just the 'pant leg'. Others measure from the bottom of the washer to the center of the hole. At HEC our measurments are for the overall (OAL) length of the washer. There is no right or wrong way to measure pantleg lock washers, but let us know if you are measuring differently so we can get you the right size.

We do! Our catalog contains more detailed information then you can find here on our website. If you would like a catalog just call or email us and let us know where to send it.

In most cases we do receive your email...even if you get an error message saying otherwise. If you don't receive a reply in a timely manner, please give us a call.

I tried to call, but the call will not go through. What's wrong?

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our system does not accept "unknown" or "anonymous" calls. Calls that are recognized as such usually go straight to voicemail or will not go through at all. If this happens to you, please leave a message (if possible) or send us an email. We can usually add your number to the exception list to remedy the problem.

Where is College Station, Texas?

College Station, Texas is about 1 hour northwest of Houston. Like so much of the country, Houston has expanded so much in all directions. There are many opportunities outside of the city for doing business and the workday commutes are much more enjoyable.
